Gas Calcined Anthracite (GCA)

GCA is produced in vertical furnaces under temperature of 700 ℃~1200 ℃, obtaining a de-volatized and/or low electric resistivity product.

The primary application of GCA is in steel mill ladles, melting, holding and even blast furnaces as carbon raisers, carbon additives, recarburizers, injection carbon, and carbon foaming material. It is also a major raw material for producing electrode paste, ramming past, or cathode blocks for alloy and aluminum industries.

Electrically Calcined Anthracite (ECA)

ECA is produced in vertical furnaces under temperature of 1800 ℃~2200 ℃, obtaining a de-volatized and semi-graphitized product. Calcining is controlled to achieve a significant lower Electrical Resistivity (E.R.- µΩm), ranging from 450 µΩm to 750 µΩm, depending on customer's needs.

ECA is mainly used as an ingredient in the production of carbon paste for aluminum smelter, and it is applied as taphole filling in special ferroalloy furnaces. It is also used as recarburizer in special steel production and foundry process due to its lower sulfur, low nitrogen, and low hydrogen contents.

Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) and Semi-Graphitized Petroleum Coke (SGPC)

GPC is a carbon raiser material made from high-quality petroleum coke, at a temperature ranging from 2,500°C~3,500°C. It is widely used in the production of steel, cast iron, and alloys.

SGPC is a more economical, partially-graphitized alternative, but it has higher volatile and sulfur content.

Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC)

Calcination for CPC is achieved by completely demoisturizing raw petroleum coke in a vertical furnace at temperatures above 1300 ℃.

It is an essential carbon source for steelmaking and is also used as anodes in the aluminum and titanium industries.
